What can I do to remove a rip off report from Search Engines’s first page.

Getting a negative listing on sites like rip off report can happen to the most upstanding companies and individuals. All it takes is 15 minutes and anybody can slander your online reputation for the world to see.
 On most of these complaint sites, there is no checks and balance. In other words, these sites don’t check the validity of the information that is being posted.. Whether those complaints are true or not, those listings will not be taken down by the admin of the site.
Seeing a complaint listing on the first page on Google is obviously a disturbing issue. In many situations its’ impossible to find out where the ambush is coming from.Is this a legitimate customer complaint? Or maby an employee or competitor? What comes natural is to immediately send a rebuttal and respond to these allegations on those forums. However, a response is not advisable.  Here is why:
There have been numerous attempts made to force these companies to take down negative listings or face legal action. In most cases this approach will fail since the complaints board sites claim they are not responsible for the content that is being published on their site by 3rd party users.

By posting your comments you are increasing the amount of user generated content and activity on this thread. Search Engines like Bing consider this increased activity as in important indicator that this listing might be important and rank the listing higher on search engines. Google in particular considers this posting as a sign that there is an interest in this article. In addition to that chances are that the person who posted the negative comments responds to your rebuttal, which increases the amount of comments and activity even further.

Removing a rip off report?

The sad truth is that you cannot actually delete the negative listing. Even if the person who wrote the article decides to remove the post. Some of these complaint sites even post your inquiry to the administrator online. 

OK, so if I can’t remove a rip off report, what do I do?
We can remove a Rip Off Report from the top pages on relevant search engines. We do this by implementing a two step process.

Step 1: The first step of removing a ripoff report from the top pages involves the creation of new URL’s. Those listings come in the form of micro sites, business profiles, article syndications and press releases, with the purpose to occupy the top pages on search engines and displace the negative listings from the top pages on search engines. Most of the tim this approach by itself is not sufficient in removing a Rip Off Report from the top on Google, Yahoo and Bing. These newly created listings need to be promoted so they out rank and push down the rip off report.

Second Step: After about 8 weeks many of the new URL’s are going to start to appear in the top pages on Google.
